seal population is estimated to be around 10,000–15,000.
- Habitat
Galápagos fur
seals live on almost all of the Galápagos Islands, but are most active at night
and can be difficult to spot during the day. They prefer to hang out in
shady caves or rocky grottos to escape the sun.

the water to eat until they are near collapse.
